The Sedona Book and Arts Festival 2016

About the Festival

Authors, Actors and Visual Artists form a cooperative which creates theatrical energy. Authors create words for actors to speak against a backdrop which creates the illusion of somewhere, a place where a story flows with ideas, character and visual images.

This unique festival offers literary, theatrical, & visual arts workshops for both the novice and experienced. Learning creative craftsmanship, offers the spirit within us all to blossom. This festival spotlights the spirit of imagination through reading.

You are invited to join us in the first year of an expanding festival that brings you distinctive teachers. These teachers are the foundation of this festival of the creative arts

This Festival is the all-encompassing Spirit that is Sedona, Arizona.

Who We Are

This remarkable, one-of-a-kind, event was created to encompass a variety of emerging and dedicated talents that depend on one another. The compilation of this event grew from a wiggly can of worms to a blossoming multi-petal flower within the first few months of planning.

Once the location at Yavapai College was secure, the search for the participants and volunteers of the event began. I am proud to announce my mentors, advisors, teachers, students, artists and authors that have assisted in the the dawning of this festival of creative arts. A special thanks to the festival squad that volunteers their time and efforts to bring to light the serving and sharing spirit that is Sedona.
